Dangerous Danielda was my first foray into the world of KidLit. It started life as a screenplay for a TV series I was pitching (with no luck) but I wanted more control over the story than a TV series would allow. Danielda has helped me pitch other writing projects and get work in TV productions but she has never actually had her story told. Now she is here for all to enjoy.
Dangerous Danielda is a children's book for ages 8-12, with a little bit of implied danger but nothing bad happens. It focusses on responsibility and is helpful, I think, for kids who feel awkward and misunderstood as they navigate the complicated transition to adulthood.
Okay, here's the story, told in five parts. Thanks to the University of Tulsa and to Pine Reads Review for posting the serial.
